Van Lent $49.95

A collection of 250 memorable color photos, taken from 1980 to 1993 by the father/son photographers Rik Van Lent, Sr. and Jr. of Belgium. This lovely picture album is a perfect gift for admirers of both Arabian horses and artististic photography.

The grey stallion Eukaliptus (x Bandos), photographed in 1991 with his groom at the Kurozweki State Stud of Poland, appears on the cover. Inside are photographs of Arabian horses in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Belgium, Denmark, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, and Uruguay.

Appropriately, this worldwide collection was published by Arabian Horse World. The beautiful color illustrations are typical of the quality printing that has made the magazine an award winner.

The photographers write, " more than thirty countries around the world, our patrons regularly invite us to share the beauty of their new crop of foals or their mares and stallions. Through this photographic adventure, we have dealt with different people, cultures, climates, and, most unpredictable of all: light, the ever intractable friend and enemy...the energy which makes all things visible.

"While it is nearly impossible to capture the perfection of the Arabian horse through the lens of a camera, we believe that every animal has its own identityľa certain look in the eyes, an expressive movement. Capturing this unique personality on film is our style...our trademark.

"Through these photographs, we invite you to share our work and to experience, as we have, the Arabian horseľone of the greatest glories in the living world."

Hardcover, dust jacket. Published 1993. 160 pages, 250 color photos.
